한글여행은 서울을 여행하듯 한국어(한글)를 배우는 서비스로, 나이와 관계없이 누구나 쓸 수 있습니다. 개인정보를 판매하지 않습니다.
- 18세 이상은 본인의 Google 계정으로 로그인하고, 학습 기록이 서버에 저장되어 여러 기기에서 이어집니다.
- 18세 미만은 로그인 없이 시작하며, 학습 기록은 그 기기에만 저장됩니다. 계정 · 이름 · 학습 기록 같은 개인정보를 서버로 보내지 않습니다. 다만 서비스 개선을 위해 사람을 알아볼 수 없는 이용 숫자(날짜 · 들어온 횟수 · 끝낸 장소와 정답률 · 만든 엽서 수 · 나라 · 화면 언어)만 보냅니다. 기기 id · IP · 이름은 함께 보내지 않고, 하루마다 바뀌는 무작위 값으로만 그날의 이용자 수를 셉니다.
처음 시작할 때 나이를 묻습니다. 18세 이상인지 아닌지만 확인하며, 생년월일은 받지 않습니다.

2. 이용 목적
- 로그인과 계정 확인, 여러 기기에서 같은 학습 기록 이어 보기
- 학습 진행 표시(다녀온 장소, 도장 조각, 여행 카드)와 다음 학습 고르기
- 접속 국가는 나라별 이용 통계와 나라에 맞는 기본 표시(언어 · 하루의 기준 시간)에 씁니다
- 오류 기록은 앱의 문제를 찾아 고치는 데에만 씁니다
- 어떤 문항에서 많이 막히는지를 개인을 알아볼 수 없게 모아 문항 · 해설을 고치는 데 씁니다
이용자의 정보로 프로파일링하거나, 맞춤형 광고에 쓰거나, AI 모델 학습에 쓰지 않습니다.
3. 보유 기간과 파기
- 계정 · 학습자 프로필 · 학습 기록: 이용자가 삭제를 요청하거나 계정을 없앨 때까지
- 오류 기록: 수집한 날부터 최대 1년
- 삭제를 요청하면 30일 안에 서버의 정보를 파기하고 결과를 알려 드립니다. 기기에 남은 기록은 브라우저의 사이트 데이터 삭제로 지울 수 있습니다.
4. 제3자 제공
이용자의 개인정보를 제3자에게 제공하거나 판매하지 않습니다. 법령에 따라 요구되는 경우만 예외입니다.
5. 처리 위탁과 국외 이전
서비스 운영을 위해 아래 업체에 처리를 맡기며, 서버는 대한민국 밖에 있습니다.

이전 항목 · 목적 · 보유 기간은 1 · 2 · 3항과 같습니다. 이전을 원하지 않으면 로그인하지 않고 둘러보기로 쓸 수 있으나, 기록 저장과 동기화는 이용할 수 없습니다.
6. 쿠키와 기기 저장소
로그인 세션 유지, 학습 기록의 기기 저장(오프라인 사용), 설정(언어 · 소리 등) 기억을 위해 브라우저의 로컬 저장소와 서비스 워커를 사용합니다. 광고 · 분석용 쿠키나 제3자 추적 기술은 사용하지 않습니다.
7. 광고
지금은 광고를 싣지 않습니다. 앞으로 광고를 싣더라도 이용자를 추적하는 맞춤형 광고는 쓰지 않고, 보고 있는 장소 · 화면에 맞춘 문맥형 광고만 쓰며, 광고주에게 이용자를 알아볼 수 있는 정보를 넘기지 않습니다. 18세 미만에게는 장소에 맞춘 비맞춤 협찬 카드만 보여 줍니다. 광고를 시작하기 전에 이 방침을 고쳐 알려 드립니다.
8. 이용자의 권리와 고충 처리
이용자는 언제든 자신의 개인정보에 대해 다음을 요구할 수 있습니다.
- 처리 내용 요약과 열람, 정정 · 보완, 삭제, 처리 정지, 동의 철회
- 본인이 사망하거나 행사할 수 없게 될 때 권리를 대신 행사할 사람 지정(인도 DPDP 2023)
- 고충 제기 — 아래 이메일로 보내 주시면 30일 안에 답합니다. 답이 만족스럽지 않으면 인도 정보보호위원회(Data Protection Board of India) 또는 한국 개인정보침해신고센터(privacy.kisa.or.kr · 국번 없이 118)에 신고할 수 있습니다.
9. 안전성 확보 조치
- 전송 구간 암호화(HTTPS)
- 데이터베이스 행 수준 보안(RLS) — 본인 계정의 기록에만 접근
- IP 주소를 저장하지 않음

Privacy Policy

Hangul Trip is a service for learning Korean (Hangul) as if travelling around Seoul, open to people of any age. We do not sell personal data.
- Aged 18 or over: you sign in with your own Google account, and your learning record is saved on our server so it continues across devices.
- Under 18: you start without signing in, and your learning record is kept only on that device. No personal data such as an account, name or learning record is sent to our server. To improve the service we send only anonymous usage counts (date, visits, places finished and accuracy, postcards made, country, app language). No device ID, IP address or name is sent with them; a random value that changes every day is used only to count how many learners were active that day.
We ask your age when you first start — only whether you are 18 or over. We do not collect your date of birth.

2. Why we use it
- Signing you in and keeping the same learning record across devices
- Showing your progress (places visited, stamp pieces, travel cards) and choosing what to learn next
- Country code: usage statistics by country and sensible defaults (language, the time a “day” starts)
- Error logs: only to find and fix problems in the app
- Improving questions and explanations using aggregated data that cannot identify you
We do not profile you, use your data for targeted advertising, or use it to train AI models.
3. Retention and deletion
- Account, learner profile and learning record: until you ask us to delete them or close your account
- Error logs: up to 1 year from collection
- When you request deletion, we erase your data from our servers within 30 days and let you know. Data left on your device can be removed by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
4. Sharing
We do not share or sell your personal data to third parties, except where required by law.

The data, purposes and retention are as in sections 1–3. If you do not want this, you can browse without signing in, but your record will not be saved or synced.
6. Cookies and device storage
We use your browser’s local storage and a service worker to keep you signed in, store your learning record on the device (offline use) and remember settings such as language and sound. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies or third-party trackers.
7. Advertising
There are no ads today. If we add ads in future, we will not use tracking-based targeted ads; only contextual ads matched to the place or screen you are viewing, and we will not pass information that identifies you to advertisers. Learners under 18 will see only non-personalised sponsor cards matched to a place. We will update this policy before any ads start.
8. Your rights and grievances
At any time you may ask us to:
- Give you a summary of and access to your data; correct, complete or erase it; stop processing; or withdraw consent
- Record a person who may exercise your rights if you die or become unable to (India DPDP Act 2023)
- Handle a grievance — write to the email below and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India, or in Korea to the Personal Information Infringement Report Center (privacy.kisa.or.kr, tel. 118).
9. Security
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS)
- Row-level security in the database — you can access only your own account’s records
- No storage of IP addresses
